At Max Mortgages, your confidentiality and right to privacy is very important to us.
We will not disclose information about you or your accounts to anyone unless we are requested to or allowed by law or we have your consent.
Most of the information we hold electronically on our computer systems. However, some data, for example any handwritten documents will be scanned and destroyed. We are confident that our systems are secure, and that no one will be able to access your information unlawfully. All personal details you submit to this website will remain private except where it is necessary to provide them to a third party for the purposes of a mortgage application and compliance.

Max Mortgages does not sell the personal information it holds. We will only pass information to relevant companies and contractors to allow us to best perform the service required of us by our clients. This may also include updating the estate agent(s) and/or solicitors or other stakeholders you are using on the progress of your application. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorised personnel have access to personal information. Whilst we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of information will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it.
From time to time we’ll let you know about new services or developments. You can opt not to receive this information when you talk with us during the arrangement of your mortgage or simply email us at any time after. We may also want to provide you with related information from third parties that we think may be of interest or whose products or services may be of interest to you. When you register with us on our website, we need to know key details which include your name, contact phone & e-mail so that we may respond to your inquiry. We will keep a secure record of all contact information you provide. In addition to specific services that you request, we may also contact you via email, SMS or postal mail with details of relevant products and services, as well as information about Max Mortgages. If you do not wish to receive any marketing communications from us, you can email info@maxmortgages.co.uk to be removed from our mailing list.
If you decide to provide us with any information, then you expressly authorise us to use that information in accordance with this policy. In some instances there may be delays or we will not be able to provide you with a product or service if you do not provide us with the necessary information or give us your permission to process and store that information as required for us to carry out our function.
Your Details
You must ensure that any registration details you provide are accurate. If you choose, or you are provided with, a log-on ID (such as a username and password) to process your application, you must treat such information as confidential and must not reveal it to anyone else. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your log-in ID and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or other security breach as soon as you become aware. We strongly recommend you change you password on first log-in to for added security and not rely on the default password. We reserve the right to disable any log-in ID, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms and conditions or if any details you provide for the purposes of registering as a user prove to be false or compromised.
